    Mercedes-Benz issued an apology statement Tuesday after an Instagram post struck a nerve with Chinese consumers.

    The post, which has since been deleted,. The photo was hashtagged "MondayMotivation" and had a white text overlay quoting the Dalai Lama, a Tibetan spiritual leader.
