Sartoria Dalcuore has risen to the top of every sartorial devotee’s wish list in recent years. And that is thanks to the tireless devotion of and with or without . Today, the clothes, which are still made in-house in an atelier overseen by the legendary Gigi and his brilliant daughter Cristina, can be found in readyto- wear and bespoke form in the single greatest collection of independent menswear haberdasheries in the world, including Beams in Tokyo, Signet in Manila, Villa del Corea in Seoul, Brio in Beijing, and the visionary Brycelands in Tokyo and Hong Kong. On June 13 this year, during the Pitti Uomo trade show in Florence, Annunziato, and I collaborated on two special gatherings of our favourite Dalcuore devotees, including journalists Karl-Edwin Guerre of Guerrisms and the Bespoke Dudes’ Fabio Attanasio, and Dalcuore’s partners such as George Wang of Brio, Ethan Newton and Kenji Cheung of Brycelands, Kelly See of Signet, Douglas Cordeaux, the proprietor of Fox mills, and Simon Crompton, the founder of Permanent Style. The group had the pleasure of breakfasting at the legendary Serre Torrigiani in Piazzetta, with images taken by Roby Baccante, Guerre and Jamie Ferguson. And that evening, the group reconvened for a dinner cooked by non other than Luigi’s wife, Sofia, on a private terrace overlooking Florence.
