Nikon D3500 review

I was interested to see the review of the Nikon D3500 in AP (9 February) but the standfirst and the first photograph jarred. The standfirst says ‘Audley Jarvis investigates whether it's a good beginners' buy for those thinking about pursuing photography as a hobby.' However the caption on the photograph reads: ‘For this image of the sun's rays shining through the clouds we metered for the highlights and then used Lightroom to boost the shadow detail.'

I think it is extremely unlikely that anyone thinking about pursuing photography as a hobby will sign up to £10 per month for Lightroom. Surely it would have been more appropriate to use the tools available to our novice with the
