Murderer from notorious Ripper Crew to begin life as a free man

CHICAGO - A member of the sadistic, four-man Ripper Crew - believed to have killed as many as 17 women in the 1980s - has been released from prison and is expected to return to DuPage County to live, authorities said Friday.
The Tribune has confirmed Thomas Kokoraleis has made plans to live at a Christian-based facility in the Wheaton area, according to law enforcement sources.
