CHICAGO - Chicago police scrambled to a Loop office building Thursday afternoon after getting a call about an active shooter, but it ended up being a drill that employees were not told about, authorities said.
The call came in shortly after 1 p.m. for the seventh floor of the building. The caller said people were hiding in conference rooms because of a shooter, police said.
