About this audiobook
"Science does not need mysticism and mysticism does not need science, but man needs both." —Fritjof Capra, Ph.D.
Their paths to the truth could not be more different—but the amazing thing is that, in their own ways, the mystics and the scientists are discovering the same truths about our world. In non-technical language, with no complex mathematics or formulae, this thought-provoking program explores the main concepts and theories of modern physics, the revelations coming from particle accelerators and laboratories—and compares them with the ancient tenets of Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism. In the process, we gain a clear and fascinating picture of how such seemingly disparate areas of thought are ultimately quests for the same kind of understanding.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed the connection of physics to a variety of eastern religions. I’ve read some other books that cover similar topics but this one has really discussed it the best for me. Very happy with the read and will suggest it others if they’re looking for something super interesting to think over.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good to read but need to listen the complete one.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wonderful throughout the entire book. Love the cross between mystic and science in such practical form. The difference between practicing and doing vs knowing and studying. Beautifully written.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great manual to understanding our existence in the universe. Needs a sequel, or update to explain recent discoveries in DNA. Definitely food for thought while attaining awareness.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Tao of Physics is truly an insightful masterpiece!!! Skillfully navigating the worlds of Western science and Eastern mysticism, the Tao of Physics brilliantly shows the harmonious universal link that unites both, rational and intuitive perspectives.
If you're look for an engaging read through and through look no further, this is the title for you!!! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Illustrates how quantum physics is beginning to use the same language as Eastern metaphysics/cosmology to describe the basic constituents of the Universe. Everything is composed of everything else; everything is a part of everything else. It is an oxymoron to suggest that anything can exist outside of, or apart from, anything/everything else.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5You can understand the basic principles of physics if you undertake this book. The Dancing Wu Li Masters is more engaging.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of the first book to blend physics and mysticism, it's surprisingly easy on the brain and a fascinating read.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5the search of science for underlying entities of the universe finds its coherence with eastern philosophy / religion.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Yet another independent thinker. Worth reading at a time when the baby of spirituality risks being emptied with the bath water of institutional religion. Very useful for opening further an open mind.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great comparison of eastern religious motifs and modern quantum mechanical physics.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5nuclear physics, insight into quantum mechanics, an all encompassing insight into hinduish, bhuddhism, Taoism and the zen, and how all these are related, i can bet u've never read such a book b4. if u're scientific minded at all, u'll read this book...
