100% Yes. This is the cutest story. For children and adults. The author has such imagination, understanding and talent. She weaves a great lesson seamlessly into the story.

The story was so fun and entertaining that I didn’t even notice there was a lesson until the end of the story. When everything is gathered together and you realize the lesson that has been playing out in such a cute way throughout the story.

You should always happily be who you are.
Don’t give up things you enjoy. Don’t give up parts of who you are.
Don’t get swayed, pulled away, from who you really are
by other peoples ideas of who you should be,
by your own ideas of who you think other people want you to be,
by fear of not being accepted.

    This story is so charming.
Anyone with younger kids should have this book. It’s a great story to listen to by audio book or listen to it being read by a parent or loving adult.
Children will have fun and be encouraged to like who they are and be who they are.

We enjoyed the book because it taught us a valuable lesson. The kids enjoyed the added sound effects. Overall it is a wonderful story and I think every child should read this book. I am going to buy the book for our personal library.

This book is about a girl named Camilla Cream, who cares too much about what everyone thinks. After not being able to find anything she wants to wear on the first day of school, she gets a bad case of stripes. Doctors cannot figure out what is wrong with her; she is sent to school and kids think it is fun to make her skin change into anything they want it to look like. After this bullying happens at school, many experts try to figure out what is wrong, but it only makes her situation worse. In the end, Lima Beans, something she loves, but is too afraid to eat them in front of the other kids because she thinks they will judge her, is the only thing that cures the stripes. She eats lima beans all the time after this and it shows it is best to be yourself and do what you want.
