About this audiobook
Of all the judgments you make in life, none is as important as the one you make about yourself. The difference between low self-esteem and high self-esteem is the difference between passivity and action, between failure and success. Now, one of America's foremost psychologists and a pioneer in self-esteem development offers a step-by-step guide to strengthening your sense of self-worth. Here are simple, straightforward and effective techniques that will dramatically improve the way you think and feel about yourself. You'll learn:
- How to break free of negative self-concepts and self-defeating behavior.
- How to dissolve internal barriers to success in work and love.
- How to overcome anxiety, depression, guilt and anger.
- How to conquer the fear of intimacy and success.
- How to find -- and keep -- the courage to love yourself.
- And much more

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The audio was SO dated it was a little hard to focus on the content, but there is some good information here.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A good short introduction. It is not the whole book. Needed to listen to it more than once and would have appreciated more exercises. Will probably need to read the book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5me gusta las técnicas para elevar la autoestima, son ejercicios que se deben realizar siempre.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I liked it, clear and straight to the point.
but if this book had more examples it will be better. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Muy poco enseña no da muchos tips
Y se la pasa en ejemplos - Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book is dumb and a waste of time. Pass on it.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Don’t waste your time. You do 1 exercise and listen to him talk about other clients that I think he made up
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5just as it got interesting, it ended! What a waste of time!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great book with good steps to take to better your outlook on yourself. Also, it is not done in that overly empathetic way you see in so many other books. Straightforward work, to get what you need done. Good luck all on your journey of loving yourselves again.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was an excellent listen and recommended to any audience, especially those of which are looking for something impactful and might not have too much time in their day.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved the concepts expressed in a easy to grasp manner.
This book made me remember of how good is to live our lives with our own integrity and how important it is to take care of ourselves according to our true desires. Thanks Nataniel! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was quite enlightening for me. I plan to implement all of the strategies learned as well as complete the "complete the sentence" practices.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Tbh, this was very bland and the delivery of information wasn’t engaging. Not bad but not great. Quick read!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent audio. Very helpful techniques despite being short. May try to read more detailed book later however it is a good start.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really an eye-opening book! I think everyone can learn from listening to the calm narrator, the excellent examples of people in distress, and the evolution of their mindsets into achieving a greater self confidence. I know that I learned from listening to the book, and I know that life is an ongoing process, but this does not tackle me now - though, it has not always been like this, and why should it be so for you? Get started, because it's your life!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/515 minutes of the entire 60 minutes was of worth.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Terrible, waste of my time, the people he spoke of
Where pathetic, and truly needed Psychotherapy!
All I need is a little boost to the next level, megalomania maybe! Lol - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very good book. Very helpful. Recommended to all readers. Thanks.
