Very interesting book to read, especially after reading the Four Hour Work Week. Definitely recommend.

I'd never heard of Scott Fox before, but from what I read in the book, he's been quite successful at making money online. He's worked with some big names so it appears he knows what he's talking about. The book spends most of the time covering the nuts and bolts of choosing a subject area (niche), determining its feasibility to make money, creating a web site and making the big bucks. He uses lots of case studies of people who are currently making money online, which is very useful.I finished the book optimistic, but still a bit vague on the next action step. I'm in a bit of analysis paralysis, which he actually discusses briefly in the book. It's where you spend so much time planning and preparing to make money and learning to avoid all the pitfalls that you never take action. The book has given me some more ideas on how to make money, and I plan to refer back to it in the future as I take action. If you're unfamiliar with how people make money online, it's a great book to help you learn. If you already know about the general methods of making money like drop shipping, selling on eBay, product development, affiliate marketing, digital information products (aka eBooks), then you probably won't find anything new.

This book is great for anyone interested in starting an Internet business. It provides the guidelines and tools necessary to build an Internet business from the ground up. What I found of particular interest was that everything was kept simplistic, showing the reader that you no longer had to be a tech wizard to be successful on the Internet. The author, Scott Fox, makes every effort to guide the reader through a step by step process, encouraging you to develop your business as you read through the book. In addition to encouraging, simple instructions; there are also numerous interviews scattered throughout the book from others who have created successful Internet businesses. As a moderately skilled "techie" there were some aspects of the book that I found to be a bit tedious to read, though even that information was well thought out and easy to understand. I recommend this book to anyone even remotely curious about creating an Internet business. Prior to reading I hadn't considered the possibility, but now I'm even looking into it a bit, thanks to the ideas the book encouraged.

This book by Scott Fox offers an organized approach to developing an internet based business. I would have appreciated this book when I was developing my own enterprise as it provides terrific suggestions for the novice. However, I will use several suggestions that are offered to improve and broaden the scope of the business. The apprentice can certainly gain some valuable knowledge with this book. In addition, it makes a great supplement as a reference tool for those businesses that have been previously established. The case examples are helpful and the book offers plenty of encouragement to those seeking to get their feet wet.The message is clear, “jump in and get started”. In my experience, it’s best to map out your objectives first. Then, use a book such as Internet Riches to methodically carry out your business plan. As for help along the way, the internet is another remarkable resource with unlimited assistance available. Internet Riches covers the bases and the encouragement offered is definitely worth the purchase price.

Although much of this information is available on line, I applaud Scott Fox for putting it all in one place, and making it readable for the non-techie! He demonstrated the process that should be used, and how to follow-through with your plan. If this interests you, I would recommend checking this one out!

This is a well concieved tutorial on the basic concepts and tools for starting an online business. Fox keeps it simple, helping the reader to focus on the core elements of the business, and showing how to get all the other administrative stuff done by using cheap or free online services.Fox walks the entrepreneur through the steps of identifying potential business ideas from everyday activities, hobbies, and experiences. He shows how to identify business ideas unique to the internet, as well as ways to use the Internet to turn non-starters into worldwide opportunities. He then shows how to use the Internet to get the business up and running as quickly and cheaply as possible, taking most (if not all) of the risk out of a new business startup. Ideas for free (or nearly free) site/business promotion are detailed as well.Fox's ideas aren't new. His tricks are not new. But this book presents the steps for establishing an online business, from soup to nuts, in a simple and easy to understand and follow format. No magic here - just a solid handbook to get the self-starter going.Os.
