- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is an awesome book... I loved Hero and heroine, they were great together.. And as crazy as it sounds I liked Valentine, he was the best bad guy ever. And he truly did love her in his own crazy way..
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5“Die For Me”! The title is the second of Cynthia Eden's books that I have read. After the first, I came to love also to enjoy reading this writer's work. She is a great writer and keeps each book entirely different from the next. Although, most of her works are or maybe focusing always with a crime or criminal activity and killings of many before the killer is finally brought to justice.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Cynthia Eden has written an emotional and intense romantic suspense novel in DIE FOR ME. Katherine Cole can't ignore it when her ex-fiance--the Valentine Killer--surfaces in New Orleans. She has been relocated there by the US Marshals who now want to her relocate again. Katherine--never call her Kat--is sick of running and tired of the guilt she feels each time she hears about another victim. She goes to the cops. Detective Dane Black is in charge of the latest case. Dane goes from thinking she might be a suspect herself or an accomplice to deciding that she is an innocent victim that he needs to protect with his life. The emotions are intense. But Katherine is no victim. She has strength and courage and is determined to stop the Valentine Killer before he kills again. The Valentine Killer is obsessed with Katherine because she didn't let the abuse she suffered as a child damage her as he was damaged. He needs her because she makes him a better person but he needs to kill more. The story has lots of twists and turns. There are a series of grisly deaths that all connect with Katherine in some way. Eden kept me totally in the dark about who the Valentine Killer was.Fans of romantic suspense novels will like both the mystery and the romance in this one. As for myself, I never want to get a bouquet of red roses...
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This is a romantic suspense novel, and has the usual characteristics of one, but it is particularly well written. As soon as you think you know what's going on, and the characters start having the same suspicions, something happens that changes the story once again, and sends it off in another direction entirely. From start to finish, you couldn't be certain of what you'd find on the next page. Definitely a good read, if blood doesn't make you squeamish!

An exciting and suspenseful thriller although the twists weren't all that surprising.
All of the characters are interesting and well-developed from the vulnerable heroine who remains strong and resilient nonetheless, to the hunky detective sworn to protect her, the suspicious FBI profiler, the vindictive psychiatrist and the obsessed killer.
Katherine has an indomitable spirit. Despite the traumatic events of her past, she never allows herself to become a victim and is eager to do what is right and even sacrifice herself for others. Her love interest, Dane, struggles with demons of his own and his connection with Katherine is intense. The slow build up of their relationship from mistrust to love is very satisfying.
The suspense plot is fast-paced with just enough detail to be thrilling without being too gruesome. The villain is truly menacing but there are some intriguing moments that make you stop and think about what makes this type of person tick. The final confrontation is exceptional and reminds me of certain incredible scenes from the film Se7en.
A solid read for fans of Cynthia Eden and a good place to start for newbies to her books. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is an awesome book... I loved Hero and heroine, they were great together.. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really enjoyed this book about Katherine, a woman stalked by her ex-fiance who is a serial killer. Despite her relocation by Witness Protection, he has found her again and has started killing again. I really liked Katherine. She is strong and cares about others. She is a bit stubborn, but only because she feels responsible for the killer being in New Orleans. Of course, there is the hunky policeman, Dane. I really did not like the insta-love between them but they made a good couple in the end. I did figure out who the killer was pretty early on but there was enough action and twists to keep me engaged. I have read other Cynthia Eden books and enjoyed those as well. Not the best writer but she really comes up with great stories.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I honestly enjoyed this novel. It was suspenseful, gory, romantic and just overall good. Its very hard to please me when it comes to the crime/ suspense genre but I must say I was utterly pleased. Good Job Ms. Eden.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Cynthia Eden is one of those authors that I will seek out and read anything she writes. She is a master storyteller that I return to again and again when searching for a good book to read. I love her paranormal series, but also enjoy her other romantic suspense novels. I have not read romantic suspense in a while, but since it was Cynthia I decided to give this book a try. As always with Cynthia, the suspense in Die for Me was fantastic! I loved all the twists and turns in the plot and was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the killer was. There were quite a few revelations that came our way I did not see coming and I always enjoy having that happen. The romance was surprisingly the only thing I found to be a little lacking. There is some insta-lust going on which I never really mind, but I just did not feel the connection between Katherine and Dane. I cannot pinpoint it down to just one moment, but I was not invested in their love and it took a while for me to warm up to the idea of the two of them being together. I enjoyed the two of them separately, but when they were with one another I was not feeling the sparks at first. I did warm to them eventually, but I was surprised it took me a while to do that. However, the story itself was so full of mystery and intrigue it kept me completely engrossed and I devoured the book in one sitting. Cynthia always has the ability to suck me into her worlds and not let go until I have read the last page. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good romantic suspense. If you have not done so, you should also look into her other romantic suspense novels, Deadly Heat, Deadly Fear and Deadly Lies.

I was involved in the story from start to finish. It was like a really good episode of your favorite serial killer show. You think you know what is going to happen and then BAM there was a twist. The character were perfect for the thriller/suspense aspect of the story.Romance Thoughts: The romance was not really strong until about 3/4 of the way through. While that didn't bug me, this is a romantic suspense so it should be noted. The characters were difficult to see in an insta-romance but in the end you were rooting for them. This is one story that I was glad there was an epilogue.Audio Thoughts: Narrated by Emily Beresford/Running Time 10 hrs and 56 minsI am not sure exactly what about this audio didn't fit for me but I only made it through about 2 hours before I switched over to the print version. I don't think Emily is a bad narrator (she is normally quite good) but she just wasn't a fit to this story.Final Thought: I totally recommend Die for Me to any suspense/thriller reader who doesn't mind a little romance in their stories.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Michelle L. Olson:A good murder-mystery thriller is like chocolate for me, and I devour Patterson, Deaver, Johansen and more whenever I can.... Die for Me was like the best chocolate found in the far corners of Europe, and I LOVED very single page! It's an action packed, gripping psychological thriller that had me yearning for more. Having only read Cynthia's Paranormals prior to this, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it, and will definitely be checking out some of her other RS titles ASAP.Our villain is a super creepy serial killer. He's damaged, scarred, and obsessive beyond comprehension and has his sights set on the only woman he's ever been able to truly love (or so his warped mind believes). Our hero is a no-nonsense detective, but he has a weakness for his initial suspect, the villain's ex-fiance, and victim, Katherine. The internal struggles he deals with when torn between duty and his heart are incredibly emotional and definitely believable.Katherine is a very strong heroine, even though she has her obvious weaknesses. She survived the nightmare of finding out that her fiance was a killer and is determined to bring him to justice no matter the cost. The mystery is full of twists & turns, and even though some of the outcomes were predictable, it made the story no less intense and compelling. LITERAL ADDICTION gives Die for Me 4 Skulls and believes it will make both romance and suspense lovers happy. I can't wait to check out more romantic suspense from Cynthia Eden!
