About this audiobook

In a world of sorcery and seduction, the nights bring out the beautiful, the damned, and the desired. Here, Riley Jenson is on her own-half werewolf, half vampire, working for an organization created to police the supernatural races. Trusting her superiors and lovers barely more than she trusts her worst enemies, Riley plays by her own set of rules. Her latest mission: to enter the heavily guarded pleasure palace of a criminal named Deshon Starr-a madman-scientist who's been messing around in the gene pool for decades.

With two sexy men-a cool, seductive vampire and an irresistibly hot wolf-vying for her attention, Riley must keep focused. Because saving the world from Deshon Starr will mean saving herself-from the trap that's closing in around her.

Book 3 in the Riley Jenson series. Riley Jenson, a rare hybrid of vampire and werewolf, works for Melbourne’s Directorate of Other Races, an organization created to police the supernatural races whilst protecting humans. As almost a full guardian, Riley is placed as one of the women fighters and sexual entertainers for Deshon Starr, crime cartel boss. His breeding labs and experimental cloning must be uncovered as Riley learns to control her increasing psychic powers and strength. Her search for a soul-mate means she is torn between the ancient vampire, Quinn, and alpha werewolf, Kellen. Another good action packed and erotic paranormal romance by Australian author Keri Arthur.

Eeep if Kissing Sin was exciting for foreshadowing of the final situation this is even better. There's a hint regarding Quinn, we get to meet Dia, and Riley has officially joined the guardians and is getting sucked into all that means.

This was an exciting read. It took place over a very intense period of time so the action just swept me along (until I found that I'd stayed up a lot later than intended to finish it).

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the rest of the series...soon...hopefully.

I surprisingly really enjoyed this one. I think if you were to compare he first book to this one, you would be able to tell that the writing is vastly improving. This one was very organized. Where as the first one not so much. The first two books in he series I had taken as a joke. But in Tempting Evil, it wasn't a joke to me.

What I mean by this, is all of the situations had a real feeling to them. I actually felt sad for Riley at times. Where as the first two didn't have that same feeling of connection to the character. I am definitely going to continue this series, and hope it keeps getting better.

Riley is a Guardian, not really what she wants. She "graduates: and is thrown into a mission that puts her and her brother in great danger. She has sex with the enemy, needs to save others and fight bigger and stronger foes then ever before. New powers are developing and she does know how to control them. Quin and Kade are back to help her needs.

Coming into a series three books in was not a good idea, I had no background info about her brother or her lovers or the guardians. I was just suddenly knee deep in a story that I was enjoying up until about the 150 page mark when she was suddenly having sex with almost everyone and I felt like I'd missed something (which since it's the third book, I obviously had). Therefore i'm giving it three stars.

Having really enjoyed the first few books I was dissappointed with Tempting Evil. It is really dark, with a lot of physical and sexual violence, enough to distract from the story for me. Plus the walking aroung naked thing seemed a bit extreme, even though it works with the context of the story.I did enjoy Riley discovering her new psi talents and the final confrontation though. I can't decide between two and three stars, but since i didn't like this as much as the others it will have to be 2.

The series was good. I could have done without half of the sex scenes tho.

As I've probably said before, I love Keri Arthur's books. 'Tempting Evil' is the best one so far. But, starting around chapter 14, the story felt rushed. Overall, I would still give it five stars. The action and romance is always great. It also will leave you wanting more.

I didn't care for this book at all. The dubious plot centers on a surfeit of unnecessary sex in an attempt to be edgy and spicy. For the most part, I found it boring. The characters inspired no sympathy or interest, the action and character development served as filler between sex scenes, and there was nothing that made me want to pick up another book from this series.

The series comes to maturity - Riley is a guardian, and starts with her training. Many of the professional challenges come to a head and are resolved, even as personally and metaphysical ones continue to develop. The sex is still skimpier than you might expect if you read some of the other reviews - Riley gets plenty of it, but it's very much "We screwed" sort of writing. The intrigue and action keep it moving along nicely.

These books are a fun read, because the concepts aren't too difficult. The world is similar to the one that we live in, and Riley's character is one that's easy to wish to be! I enjoyed this one, and look foreward to the next one, if only to see more of Quinn!
