About this audiobook

Elyon's lakes have turned blood red.  Is it a curse... or the cure?  Shaeda has one blue eye and one purple eye. No one fully knows her story, but her mere gaze eats away at the core of one's being. In his quest for power, Johnis now finds himself in her intoxicating grip. Assumed identities, a magic amulet, control of the fearsome Shataiki bats, and a troubling alliance with the Dark Priest all converge against the three remaining chosen. Only Elyon knows what will happen when the forces of ultimate good and evil clash in their final battle. Dive deep into this epic conclusion to the Lost Novels-if you dare!

In the last book, Elyon, Johnis finds himself back in his world, and out of the world we know today. After the 5 year journey that he makes from our world of high technology, he goes back to his and finds that much has changed since his absence. now, the horde has taken over the forest, and the forest guard are gone. he finds out that they have fled after a terrible defeat. they are now in hiding from the relentless slaughter from the horde. Elyon shows him that he loves bot albino and horde, and that they come together and learn to love each other. along with some friends, he fights the horde in one last epic battle between good and evil, and it opens him up to a whole new world. One where there is no evil...only Elyon. I think the author of this book,Ted Dekker, did a FANTASTIC job of wrapping this series up. it is a good religious book, showing evil and good, and it show God through another world known by a different name. it was a good ending, and it was very inspirational. i would give this book a 5 star rating. i would say that it is my favorite book out of this series. i would recommend to my friends. i would also recommend it to people who more religious than others, because it does a good job of intertwining fantasy and religion into a book kids would enjoy reading. it is definitely on my top 5 favorite books list.

This series lost steam. While I enjoyed the last two, the whole episode with Shaeda was too exaggerated to be enjoyed. The finale by the river was disappointing and did not adequately resolve the various plots.
