- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5A different narrator would have made this book 100% better! Her northern accent drove me crazy, and it's a shame that she narrates 9 other books of Joyce's on here. How sad! I tried to listen as long as I could but that nasally voice and her choppy reading was just too much. The narrator that did Battlefield of the Mind should have done ALL of Joyce's books. Her voice was perfect.
