- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I liked it because it was about a jaguar and I like jaguars. The jaguar was made of gold. The gem was really glass, because a guy switched it out.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I enjoyed this mystery. My daughter discovered who stole the jewel long before I did.

Mine Well it’s summer and time for the summer reading program at the library. This is when most of my children & young adult books. I try to read some of the same books as my nephews. The older one loves the A-Z and Capital Mysteries.
I have to say this is a very cute series. What a fun adventure - Dink and his friends go to New York City to visit his uncle. Dink’s uncle is a curator for a museum and is getting ready for a very important exhibit of jeweled pieces. The key piece is a solid gold jaguar with ruby eyes hold a large emerald.
A noted appraiser comes to make sure the items arrive safely---but the main emerald seems to have been replaced with a large green piece of glass. Dink’s uncle seems to be a prime suspect, but the kids come to the rescue to prove that theory wrong.
