Another fun set of kid-friendly mysteries. The mysteries were less-predictable this go-round. The characters were still interesting and fun. My favorite was Runaway Racehorse" because there was actually a red herring that fooled me for a bit. A fun, quick, mindless read."

This is a book of mystery where a Claud Monet painting is stolen form a home while a block party wss going on. There is also a Circus going on at the block party. The only evidence they find is ornage peelings at first. Later they find strands of orange hair. They are trying to find the thief of thieves. They also find orange peelings along the street the next day in the alley. They begin to suspect every one in the building who has access to Dink's Uncle's apartment. Miss Booker is their first suspect because they remebered that she has organge hair, she was seen wearing a coat and the fact that she is the building manager with the all the keys. She is to old to climb buildings but some one or something matched the discription of what Mrs. Cornelius saw on the balcony. Who are what could have stolen the painting and eaten all of those oranges?
