About this audiobook

It's past two in the morning. You're on your third glass of wine. You're wearing his sweater because it still smells like him (and quite frankly, he never really smelled that great, but we'll give it to you). Stamp out that dumb French cigarette and put down that phone. No, really, don't make that call. Why? Because you're not that girl, looking for another chance with someone who has proven himself unworthy of your greatness, or sitting alone with a box of tissues while a world full of possibilities waits outside your door. Starting right here, right now, it's time to dry your tears, put down that pint of ice cream, log out of his e-mail, and start turning your breakup into a break-over.
IT'S CALLED A BREAKUP BECAUSE IT'S BROKEN is the ultimate survival guide to getting over Mr. Wrong and reclaiming your inner Superfox. From how to put yourself through "he-tox" to how to avoid Revisionist Romance Disorder, Greg and Amiira share their hilarious and helpful roadmap for getting past the heartache and back into the game.
The longer you stay stuck in a dead-end relationship, the less time you get on this planet to experience a great one. IT'S CALLED A BREAKUP BECAUSE IT'S BROKEN is a straight-talking, spot-on, must-have manual for finding your way back to an even more rocking you.

This book presents some solid advice for getting thru a break up in a humorous format.
It's not super scientific or super well written but it's an entertaining read.

Look how comforting this book looks. It's fluffy blue and bright pink and has a half-eaten carton of ice cream on the cover. And it actually made me feel better, as ashamed as I am to admit it. If I had found it in the early stages of heartbreak, however, I would have probably just found it enraging. I'd say it's more suited to that bruised-but-not-bleeding stage you hit later on, when you've pulled yourself together a bit and feel up to taking advice.

I laughed my way through this relationship advice book for getting through breakups. The tone is blunt, quick and fast. My favorite sections were the "Psycho Confessionals" where people told stories of what they did after a break-up. It just goes to show how everyone deals with the same issues, give or take, and although hilarious, it is also filled with a lot of good advice to move on.

When I went through a breakup I bought this book on a whim. It is uplifting but more importantly it made me laugh! You wouldn't think a book can actually help you heal but I felt this book helped a lot! It offers great advice about self-esteem and relationships. When someone in my family got a divorce, I just left the book on the bed in hopes she might read it and she did! I saw her smile for the 1st time in days. This is a book every woman should have because sooner or later it will be needed. It's a must-have!

My friend Meghan recommended this book to me and it's laugh-out-loud funny in parts. It's both very sympathetic and no-nonsense--a rare combination. I'm having trouble adhering to some of its basic tenets, however I suspect that's my own fault and not the book's!

This book was great for a self-help book. It was funny and not condescending at all. While some advice was obvious, some others were very insightful. It helped me during difficult times.
