About this audiobook
Dr. Ron Paul's newest audio book, LIBERTY DEFINED, returns to the format and scope of his #1 New York Times bestseller The Revolution. Rather than delve so deeply into one issue (as End The Fed did) or simply update the topics discussed in The Revolution, this will be a brand new, comprehensive, A-Z guide to his position (unwavering support of personal liberty and small government) on 50 of the most important issues of our times, both foreign and domestic. His devoted followers will be able to use it as a guide book for 2012 and beyond, for all their political and educational efforts. With entries ranging in length, LIBERTY DEFINED will be very accessible, easy to digest, and clear cut in its ideology.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5In Liberty Defined, Dr. Ron Paul spells out simple solutions and principled positions on 50 important issues. It is a quick, interesting and entertaining read. It is a phenomenal book to give to friends and family who haven't fully switched over to the side of liberty yet - the chapters are short and to the point and won't bore the reader by delving into the deeper, philosophical, esoteric minutiae that would likely result in a neophyte putting the book down and never picking it up again. Liberty Defined is even a good read for those who have long been on the side of freedom and a supporter of Ron Paul's message as there are plenty of little gems in each chapter that many of us have never heard or thought of ourselves. Regardless of where you are in your political journey, order this book - you won't be disappointed!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It is very refreshing to read a book by a political candidate which is purely focused on intellectual matters and political issues. The biggest problem is that Paul's first principles suffer because he does not believe that private vice affects public virtue. He does not see, for example, that homosexual "marriage" severely damages and undermines the family, the original cell in society. Also, though this is almost a side note, he makes a mistake in lumping the morning after pill in with contraception, forgetting its abortafacient qualities.Still, his solutions for many of the ills in America -social, fiscal, and foreign policy related- are convincing and constitutional. His emphasis on state's rights is refreshing and redeeming. For example, though he thinks the individual has the right to determine what marriage is, he admits that the states have the right to legislate the matter of homosexual "marriage". His solution for ending the abortion genocide is the most practical and constitutional that I have heard from a political candidate.Paul is to be commended for his staunch constitutionalism, emphasis on liberty, and artful balance between law and freedom.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Abandoning for now. I've read a lot by and about Dr. Paul, so I have a good idea of his beliefs already. May pick this back up at some point. Just too much to read for the time being.
