      This book gives you a glimpse into the typical male's psyche. For those who don't understand men, or are having relationship problems, this book may be helpful. He does make valid observations about the typical male and female reactions to events and their communication styles and proposes solutions that would probably work for many.I found I grew tired of his insulting generalizations, disguised as humour, towards both genders. Furthermore, he's quite religious; therefore, he often used elements from the bible to explain or highlight his points, which grew tiresome.I read this book out of sheer curiosity because I've always said that my husband is the atypical male. Based on this book, I'm correct.

      Excellent book no matter where you are or are not in a relationship. With hindsight of my own experiences, I have to agree with everything he has said. Packed woth details. I strongly suggest the audio version. I read alot and this is by far one of the best reads yet!
