About this audiobook

Scaredy Kat
Kat can see spirits, but what's even worse is the fact that spirits, especially the exceptionally needy ones, can see her. As this medium-in-training discovers, there's really no way to run from spirits, and sometimes being sought out by a whole bunch of dead people can be pretty scary. So when their exploration of the abandoned house next door leads Kat and her best friend, Jac, on a search for a missing boy, Kat's not sure if she wants to help-or even if she can.

A 13 year old girl has recently learned that she has mediumistic skills. She's taking pictures of the abandoned house next door when she notices the figure of a little boy in the window. The only issue is the little boy isn't there when she looks with here eyes. She enters the house and strange things begin to happen, cabinets open and close by themselves. There's an outraged spirit in one of the upstairs bedrooms as well as the spirit of the little boy in another. She makes it her duty to try and help the spirit of the little boy and learns how to block the energies from all spirits especially the angry man. Written with a teen/tween audience in mind.

This is the sequel to "School Spirit". I thought it was okay, but not as good as the first book.

A bit creepier than the first book in the series, but very cute. Perfect for middle-grade readers.

Boght this at the book fair, and will be cataloging it soon for my kiddos, but I wanted to read it first. I thought book one actually was chill inducing for a middle reader book, so was looking forward to trying this one. As a kid who LOVED ghost stories and ghost books and TV (Remember "Are you Afraid of the Dark" 90's kids?) this really appealed to me even as an adult now. I think my students will really like it, it wasn't scary enough to give nightmares, but creepy in ways that I know my 5th graders will love
