Suspense, fun, romance...what else could we ask for? It's all here in this well-written story. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

This was one of the first books I read when rediscovering the romance genre, about 6 years ago. I loved it and read most of the other books by this author.
On rereading this and some of the others, they start out interestingly, however, I seem to get bored midway through. I put them down and don't pick them up again.

This is the Lynn Kurland book I’ve re-read more than any other. Kendrick is a ghost, cursed along with two warriors who had come with him, to meet his bride. He can’t leave the grounds, but his two friends can and they come and go. And he’s got a butler, from a line of butlers who’ve been serving him and keeping the place up for all these years. Genevieve is the last descendant of the witch that’s alive and she’s somewhat surprised to learn she’s inherited a castle. He believes he has to kill the last of the Buchanans in order to break the curse, but he can’t do it.So a ghost raised on chivalry, sword fighting and jousting falls in love with a young woman in the current time period who loves him back. It gets a little frustrating that they can’t do anything about it. Or can they? And she’s in danger from a surprising source. I love this story where the impossible becomes possible. I believe this is her first book involving a ghost that comes back to life. Both the primary and secondary characters are wonderful and heck, I’d really like to meet Royce. Why hasn’t he had his own book? There’s humor, romance, chivalry, fighting and a woman putting up with a lot as these guys can be so caring, but overprotective. And it’s fun to what Genevieve getting used to being around all these ghosts.

I enjoyed this light fantasy that includes romance, ghosts, and a castle. What more could one ask for in a romantic fantasy. If you believe in ghosts or wish for something a little out of the ordinary, this book is for you. I'll be looking for more by this author.

I loved this book. It gave me a good laugh and it was fast moving. The heroine fought back her fear of the ghost and won his heart. I love to read fantasy and this one is a very good read.

I am picking one of her earlier works - but my review is for ALL her works - excluding her new one that goes off into a more fantasy type world.Lynn Kurland is so utterly enjoyable. Yes, nearly every story is set in the same vein with the same type of hero and heroine. But she writes so wonderfully that I have enjoyed every one of her books. Her humor yet believable emotions in her characters are so refreshing.I recommend any of her books.
