    4 stars for Charmed
2,5 stars for Enchanted. A little bit boring for a Nora Roberts, maybe because of the lack of interaction with other characters.

My favorite of the trilogy, and the epilogue was a lovely way to finish up all their stories. I think the Donovan books will always hold a space for me as nostalgic comfort reads; witchcraft and romance is a great combination.

For those of you playing along at home, Charmed is the third book in the Donovan Legacy series. Three cousins, Morgana, Sebastian and Anastasia are all witches of Irish descent. With Morgana and Sebastian married off in Captivated and Entranced respectively, Ana is the last single cousin/witch. She is having the most trouble finding a mate due to her supernatural ability to feel empathy and heal broken whatevers. Enter Boone Sawyer, single (widower) dad and new (convenient) neighbor. Even more conveniently enough, he writes fairy tales and has even corresponding with the Donovan matriarch in Ireland. He's a big fan. Ana falls in love with his daughter and Boone falls in love with Ana. It's a match made in heaven except Ana can't tell Boone she really is a witch. She's afraid he will act like the last guy and dump her cold. So she has cold feet. It takes an accident for them to break the impasse and live happily ever after. Hey, this is a Nora Roberts romance after all!

Very old book. Don't even remember this one. I think I read the trilogy though.

Typical paranormal, magic romance novel. Boy meets girl, they fall in love, they have a fight, they get back together, they live happily ever after. This one comes with a twist though, it's part of the Donovan legacy series, which means witches shown in a positive light, although I'm not thrilled about how they make witch mean Wicca when they are 2 completely different things, but I digress. Anyway, it's a cute, easy to read story with a few rather requisite steamy sex scenes, LOL. Light reading for sure! I never read the first 2 in the series, so I'm going to have to go back & find those, but fine as a stand alone too.

I really didn't like this book very much. It got boring in the middle and I pushed through to get to the ending. It did have it's good parts but I didn't think it was worth the time.

While I very much enjoy her other "paranormals" I was highly disappointed in the Charmed/Enchanted duo. More so by Enchanted than Charmed. Perhaps reading the first 2 in the series first would improve? Enchanted was a stretch to "believe" and the "hero" was rather unlikeable really. Light, fluffy, not so well developed characters, the "paranormal" seemed overdone, although based in realism of the craft. All in all, a good read (hers always are) but no where near the quality of the Three Sister's Island trilogy.

Anastasia Donovan is a witch and a herbalist. Resigned to a life of solitude due to her abilities her life is put off it's steady course when Boone Sawyer and his charming daughter move in next door. Will he accept her for what she is or run away from her and her powers.Readable fluff from Nora, amusing but nothing exceptional. Falls for the Wicca is an ancient religion trap.
