About this audiobook
From the world of Beautiful Creatures – a dangerous new tale of love and magic.
Ridley Duchannes is nobody's heroine. She's a Dark Caster, a Siren. She can make you do things. Anything. You can't trust her, or yourself when she's around. And she'll be the first to tell you to stay away – especially if you're going to do something as stupid as fall in love with her.
Lucky for Ridley, her wannabe rocker boyfriend, Wesley "Link" Lincoln, never listens to anyone. Link doesn't care if Rid's no good for him, and he takes her along when he leaves small-town Gatlin to follow his rock-star dream. He teams up with a ragtag group of Dark Casters, and when the band scores a gig at a hot Underground club, it looks like all of Link's dreams are about to come true.
But New York City is a dangerous place for both Casters and Mortals, and soon Ridley realizes that Link's bandmates are keeping secrets. With bad-boy club owner Lennox Gates on her heels, Rid is determined to find out the truth. What she discovers is worse than she could have imagined: Link has a price on his head that no Caster or Mortal can ever pay. With their lives on the line, what's a Siren to do?

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A great start to the companion series. I highly recommend reading the short prequel novella as it has everything to do with the storyline. It probably should be included in the book as a prologue/ part 1.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5All I have to say is what the hell happened to Ridley Duchannes? Badass caster with a lolly pop! Link done my head in all the way through. These two where my favourites in beautiful creatures series. Give me nox any day least he might liven rid up again! Link spent the whole time trying to change who he fell in love with *boreoff* over all I still read it. I love the caster world. I also kept praying for a bit of mean rid! Hopefully the next brings it out in her. I do not want to read about crying again! The end though left me ripping my hair out! Arghhhhhh FIRE! If you love casters you know you have to read this if you don't know what they are read beautiful creatures first....
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
This book was a great continuation of the Dangerous Creatures novels, with Ridley & Link being the star characters of this book. Most of the story takes place in New York(fabulous) and it was a non-stop adventure. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
That ending though! Aaah! Total Cliffhanger! I thought I still had 41 pages to go! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5After reading and enjoying the Beautiful Creatures books, I was looking forward to this spin-off book featuring Ridley and Linc. This is a darker story and one I just couldn't get emotionally involved in. The ending is hinted at but still comes as a complete shock. Great impact, but not very satisfying.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I couldn't wait to get this book and the wait was worth it. Lately I haven't had a lot of time to read but I started reading this one and I couldn't stop! I put the morning aside, curled up in bed and read. Dangerous Creatures follows Ridley and Link New York where Ridley has gotten into trouble. No surprise there and she hasn't told Link the whole story. The book is a fast read, very intriguing and non-stop wonder. I got to the end of the book and it was such a twist and so unexpected that I literally screamed. My daughter came running and wanted to know what was wrong!!!! I couldn't explain because she hasn't read the book yet! Oh so frustrating to have to be quite.......Now we have to wait for the next book!
