About this audiobook

After years of bad relationships and a cheating ex-fiance, twenty-eight-year-old Mia Martinelli prefers healing her patients' hearts on the Cardiac Care floor rather than risking having her heart broken again. But that all comes to a screeching halt when caring for the head roadie for Runaway Train puts her into the orbit of drummer and Latin Lover, AJ Resendiz. After a scorching weekend of steamy passion, Mia's intention of getting out with her heart unscathed is challenged by the stud with the wicked sense of humor, especially when he wants to continue seeing her. But when the harsh reality of AJ's hoard of female admirers sends her insecurities into overdrive, Mia bails, leaving him handcuffed to his bathroom shower.

AJ never imagined that after two weeks of the best sex and female companionship he'd ever experienced, he would need rescued by his band mates from his shower prison. Although he tries to forget the sensual brunette whose curves made his mouth water, AJ can't get her out of his mind...or his heart. Months later when he finally seeks Mia for answers as to why she left, nothing could prepare him for their life-altering reunion.

Can AJ prove to Mia that regardless of the women after his body, his heart belongs only to her?

I love Katie Ashley's books so when I came across Music of heart I was like I have to read it. The story was very amusing and it start off by Abby getting on the wrong tour bus instead of her brothers tour bus and spends a week with the famous womanizers the runaway Train. I love all the characters in this book which is a first because in every book there are always characters you go. so what was the point of them. Abby is a very amusing character and is always making me laugh from the time the book started to the time it ended. y favourite scene would be when they are at the bar and she gets up on stage to prove to Jake that he can get up for Virgins. I love the life that Abby leads and love how she is always making bets with everyone to prove that she can prove them all wrong.Jake Slater what is there to say you are a true rock star. I love books about rock stars but sometimes people over do the and the main characters. but I found that Jake was perfect. he is sexy with his huge ego and all those tattoo's but underneath he is a romantic. This book had everything needed for a successful rock star book. smoking hot guys with tattoo's, a thousand women, huge ego' and last but not least amazing sex.overall I really enjoyed this book and can not wait to see what else is in store for the Runaway Train series.4.5 stars out of 5

Another rocker story so you would expect the same old story line, but Ms Ashley does an amazing job of hooking the reader and bringing a fresh take to the rocker world. Jake and Abby are truly opposites who attract in the best way

Katie Ashley is a wonderful writer, there's no doubt in my mind! Beat of the Heart only solidifies the fact for me. I fell in love with AJ in the first book, Music of the Heart! The writing was witty as always, the romance was heartbreaking and charming at the same time. I liked how they had to work on the relationship.. that it wasn't just rainbow skittles. I liked Mia in the beginning of the book better than towards the end. In the beginning she was this sarcastic, strong woman, but towards the end she turns a bit annoying, she is unsure of things and makes some decisions that I don't agree with... BUT it works itself out in the end. Another thing that I didn't much care for, is the fact that they spend more time at the beginning of their relationship doing it, then actually getting to know one another. I kinda skipped through most of their smexy time, because there was just a lot of it. I know, it's an erotic read, but it got in the way of building feelings towards the couple for me.

I really like that I didn't have to re-read the first book to understand what's going on. I think that takes true talent. There's been about 300 books in between the first and second book, sometimes I don't always remember what's going on. But one thing I don't like is when authors take a long time rehashing and refreshing. Katie slowly reminds us of Jake and Abby's story throughout BotH.

Overall, AJ was a sweet-dirty talking-love machine! His heart's always in a good place, he's my favorite character so far! This book was everything you could want from a romance, it was sweet, angsty, heart-wrenching and when you finish, your heart is happy!
