About this audiobook

When something precious is stolen from sixteen-year-old Mina Grime, she will do anything in her power to get it back, even if it means traveling to the dangerous Fae plane and battling one of the strongest fairy tale villains yet.

However, nothing can prepare Mina for the dangerous obstacles she will face in the Fae world-or the choices she must make when love and life are on the line.

Loved every part of this story. Love-suspense-action-and twists. Good story! Perfect for teen and adult who wants a nice story without all the added swearing and sex. Far better without it!!!

This lived up to the page turner of the first in the series. You can always count on another realm to add an extra level to any story. Sadly this is all I can recall of the book overall, it has been almost a year since reading it and not much of the individual book has stuck with me.

The unexpected reveal and turn of this Grimm fairytale just felt so real. Before I knew it I was sucked into the book and I could not stop and I needed to know what would happen next. I love fairytales and this is just deepening my love for these tales.

Can I start by saying there are nixies and kelpies? They are such underutilized fae creatures that this makes me very happy right now. Next, I love that Mina tries to ignore the story (you know, the one that is trying to kill her?). While not her most brilliant move, let's be honest, we all wonder what would happen if the hero in the story just decided to mind their own business. So okay, now we know. This is a really strong middle book (3 of 5). Mina could have actually ended the problems, that is, if she didn't accidentally create some totally different ones (think pretty much every season-ending of Once Upon a Time). Also, deciding to face off directly against the evil fae prince, that takes guts. I loved it. I continue to be really pleased with my reread.
