About this audiobook
New friends, new enemies . . . can a magical journal change Autumn's crazy life? This funny and sweet novel by Famous in Love star Bella Thorne-is perfect for fans of Girl Online, Liv and Maddie: Cali Style, Descendants, and anyone looking for an entertaining read with just a touch of magic!
With her fiery red hair, new-girl outsider status, and tendency to be a total klutz, Autumn Falls definitely isn't flying below the radar at Aventura High. Luckily, she makes some genuine friends who take her under their wing. But she also manages to get on the wrong side of the school's queen bee, and then finds out the guy she's started to like, funny and sweet Sean, hangs with the mean crowd. Now her rep and her potential love life are at stake.
When Autumn vents her feelings in a journal that belonged to her late father, suddenly her wildest wishes start coming true. Is it coincidence? Or can writing in the journal solve all her problems? And if the journal doesn't work that way, is there a bigger purpose for it-and for her?
Filled with personal elements from Bella's own life, Autumn Falls is the first book in Bella Thorne's new series! It has everything readers will love and relate to: a real girl trying to find her own inner strength and be the best she can be, with a hint of magic and mystery, and a steady stream of OMG-I-can't-believe-that-just-happened fun.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Autumn Falls is a realistic fiction book about Autumn whose father dies unexpectantly and she and her mom and sister have to move to Florida to take care of Dad's mother. Autumn finds two great friends on her first day of school in Florida--Amalita and JJ-- and even meets a love interest, Sean. Of course, she starts the first day with a huge bump on her forehead, so she feels self-conscious and becomes perfect bait for Sean's best friend, Reenzie who doesn't like that Sean is talking to Autumn. Life is definitely difficult without dad and living in a new world. When visiting her grandmother, Autumn receives a journal that her grandmother said her father wanted her to have. Autumn is stunned and suspicious because her grandmother has a few loose marbles and her dad knew that she doesn't like to write because she's dyslexic. Nevertheless, she decides to write out her feelings only to discover that things mysteriously come true when she writes. As school progresses, Reenzie gets meaner and meaner, trying to get Autumn in trouble. Needless to say, students aren't lined up to become friends with someone who does such mean things even though Autumn denies everything. Writing in her journal helps her deal with these issues, but wishes can backfire. This novel is fun and brainless--it's a great novel to read on a rainy afternoon when you just want to relax and not think about much and only be entertained. If you are expecting great writing or a thoughtful philosophy on life, you will be disappointed.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5To be honest I am not familiar with the name Bella Thorne. It has been a very long time since I have watched anything on the Disney Channel. So I was not influenced in any way by the name to read this book. In fact, if I was familiar with who Bella was prior to reading this book I still would have checked it out because it sounded good. Case in point, this book sounded good but it really turned out to be fluff. Fluff as in cotton candy. It is good for the moment but afterwards you are left with an empty feeling and not fully satisfied. Ok, maybe satisfied but you get the picture. I got about a third of the way into the book and put it down. It was neither funny or interesting. I was looking forward to laughs but none were to be found. This is like any other typical book currently out there. Nothing special about it. Yet I tried to give this book a chance with the idea od the magical diary. When Autumn would write in her diary and the things started coming true, it was boring. Like blink and you will miss it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Better than I expected. Will definitely appeal to teens rather than adults who enjoy teen fiction. (No this is not an insult as I read a lot of teen fiction) Actually if I was still a teen, it would be one I would have thoroughly enjoyed, but hey I am 44 and a wee bit jaded these days. Likeable heroine and intriguing storyline. Nice little moral quandary as well and appreciated that the character made the decision she did
