- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The ending was a neat and interesting twist, I just feel that this story could have been told in two books. It started to loose my interested about 1/2 through this book, Overall, I would recommend this to my 6-7th grade boys to begin their reading and hopefully captivate them into reading.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5While the story itself was interesting, as is par for the course with anything written by Neil Gaiman, I found that this was difficult to feel connected with. Much of this stems from the man who does the narration. I had the same issue with the second book in the series (The Silver Dream). I wish that they had decided to stick with the same narrator as with the first book, who was much more engaging.
But as for the story, it was a fun mix of sci-fi and magic with some interesting ideas of travel between dimensions. I would most certainly recommend the book to any fans of the sci-fi or fantasy genre. It was fun to see Joey Harker's character development through out the series, and putting together the pieces of his apparently non-linear timeline. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The ending was a neat and interesting twist, I just feel that this story could have been told in two books. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Satisfactory conclusion to the trilogy. I've recommended this to kids interested in sci-fi.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A great ending to an excellent trilogy.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A truly memorable and moving experience, this whole trilogy but especially this last book. Full of heart-rending decisions and action and loss and hope...
