About this audiobook
In 2006 Jamie Tworkowski wrote a story called "To Write Love on Her Arms," about helping a friend through her struggle with drug addiction, depression, and self-injury. The piece was so hauntingly beautiful that it quickly went viral, giving birth to a non-profit organization of the same name. Now, To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is an internationally recognized leader in suicide prevention and a source of hope, encouragement, and support for people worldwide.
If You Feel Too Much is a celebration of hope, wonder, and what it means to be human. From personal stories of struggling on days most people celebrate to words of strength and encouragement in moments of loss, the essays in this book invite readers to believe that it's okay to admit to pain and okay to ask for help. If You Feel Too Much is an important book from one of this generation's most important voices.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A amazing book!! The title grabbed my attention and the book itself kept me wanting more!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What makes this author so wonderful is his honesty, upbeat attitude and vulnerability in writing his stories from his blog. Life is worth living and sometimes folks need help from friends or professional. He supplies a resource list in the final chapter.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I liked it! I myself struggle with depression so his book was nice. Sometimes you just need to know that out there are a lot of people just like you! Great reading!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/509/09/2016: I admire his ability to be honest and real without any pretense of a 'happily ever after.' It can hurt your heart to read, but it's relatable and he still carries a message of hope.
04/21/2016: Second time reading... it's a powerful thing to share our stories and more proof that art matters. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very well written book about the organization TWLOA. If you are looking for an amazing book filled with honesty about mental health addiction and or how one is attempting to figure out how to live life on life's terms than look no further.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am the queen of DIY acid peels, so at the moment I am in that 'burn victim ' phase which for me is generally about a full week before things start looking better - this book made an already red, irritated and rather ugly face that much uglier. Why ? Too many tears. My eyes looked blood shot and an already red face was made even redder. I connected so deeply with this book, especially since I was hospitalized just over a month ago for suicidal ideation and I have spent a huge part of my life lamenting, regretting, hurting, being angry and all other sorts of painful emotions that are common for people, who like the title says ' If you feel too much '. I have signed up for his organization's blog and bought some of his t-shirts to help the cause. A

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Not what I would typically read, but I very much enjoyed this book. Quite a few things that I could relate to. Author's thoughts are similar to a lot of internal dialogue I've had
