About this audiobook
Five dishonored soldiers.
Former Special Forces.
One last mission.
These are the men of Hard Ink.
Beckett Murda hates to dwell on the past. But his investigation into the ambush that killed half his Special Forces team and ended his Army career gives him little choice. Just when his team learns how powerful their enemies are, hard-ass Beckett encounters his biggest complication yet—a seductive, feisty Katherine Rixey.
A tough, stubborn prosecutor, Kat visits her brothers' Hard Ink Tattoo shop following a bad break-up—and finds herself staring down the barrel of a stranger's gun. Beckett is hard-bodied and sexy as hell, but he's also the most infuriating man ever. Worse, Kat's brothers are at war with the criminals her office is investigating. When Kat joins the fight, she lands straight in Beckett's sights . . . and in his arms. Not to mention their enemies' crosshairs. Now Beckett and Kat must set aside their differences to work together, because the only thing sweeter than justice is finding love and never letting go.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was the BEST and the HOTTEST and most INTENSE book of the series. What a way to end it!! Brava, Laura Kaye. I was crying while reading several different emotional scenes and fanning myself during some of the sexy scenes and still laughing at the T-shirts!
The Hard Ink series just got better and better with every book and I think this final installment was my favorite. Fans have been waiting a long time to find out if the guys would manage to figure out exactly who was behind the ambush that killed several of their team members and we've all been hoping to see them clear their names but they've had quite a fight on their hands and I wasn't quite sure if they'd all manage to survive the final battle. I'm not going to answer any of those questions for you so you'll just have to read the book for yourself to find out how it all ends but I will say that Hard to Let Go was an epic, action-packed finale that was everything I'd hoped for and more. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Hard to Let Go was a fitting ending to the Hard Ink series. Beckett Murda finally gets his story with Kat Rixey. Similar to the other books in the series, this one continued the story of the group who had been dishonorably discharged from the military for a variety of offenses. They finally find out in this book who was really to blame, but not before some heavy action and drama. The romance between Beckett and Kat is sweet as well as hot. I thought more could have been made of Beckett's past and the reasons why he was so standoffish with others, but it was addressed to a degree in the book. Also, there seemed to be a sudden rush at the end to explain a pretty complicated set of events that led to all of their problems, but overall, this was a good story and tied up the important loose ends. I'm looking forward to Kaye's new series surrounding the Ravens MC, which came to the aid of Nick and the gang throughout this series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Kat and Beckett
This was a very good ending to this series; it finished all the converging plot lines in the story without feeling like the ending was rushed. I see that the Ravens are next for a series from Ms Kaye, I hope we get to see some of the Hard Ink characters again there.
SPOILERS BELOW!!
Kat and Beckett sounded good together but I found it hard to believe that with all Beckett's inner demons he could open up as quickly as it was written. And I doubt they let you out of the hospital in a week after open heart surgery. Literary license was really stretched out of shape as far as credible recovery time.
And I can't believe they could walk away from a multiple shooting no matter who was taking their accounts. These little departures from reality are hard for me to read and just keep going. Spelling errors bother some people it's these obvious "things that would never happen" that stop and pull me right out of the story.
