About this audiobook

Ethan Frost is a visionary, a genius, every woman's deepest, darkest fantasy-even mine. And, somehow, I am his.

He stole into my life like a dream. He turned my reality upside down and made my every desire come true-especially those I never knew I had. He demanded everything I had to give and gave me everything of himself in return.

But dreams don't last forever, and ours is no exception-because my nightmares are darker and my wounds deeper than I could ever reveal. And as much as Ethan wants to protect me, the secrets we share will only tear us apart.Contains mature themes.

Chloe finally lets herself be wooed by Ethan but will this be a mistake for them both. Ethan and Chloe both have a past that neither one is willing to talk about. But one night, things catch up with Chloe. They get to real and to fast and she has a small break down with Ethan. She then has to tell him why and what happened. A couple days after that night he goes on a business trip and when he gets back he tries to ignore her. Chloe is not having it after he chased and wooed, and broke all of her defenses. They kinda get back together but then then her and his past come knocking at his door.

storyline was good, but just a little bit too much unnecessary information which is why I gave it three stars

Cool, but a little too much is going on with them. Chloe is just too much.

*sigh* Ethan Frost is just as yummy the second time around. Love this book and the way Ethan falls hard and fast for Chloe is perfect. He's a man who knows what he wants and will do whatever it takes to get it. Chloe included. But something from their past could put an end to all their happiness! The surprise ending in this book is fantastic and you'll need to read the next to get the conclusion.
    A highly recommended read.

Christian who? Don't care, Ethan Frost is the new man in town.

Holy wow, smoking hot, practically sizzling. Even better than 50 shades.

This book was a strong 4 stars right up until the last two chapters. It was hard to see the caring, smart and intuitive Ethan through 7/8th of this book as the "I might be terrible for you" character at the end. Yeah, you could tell this couple was doomed but this ending/cliffhanger didn't work for me.

For those of you who liked Release me and enjoyed Nicki and Damien, you will definitely like Ruined.

Ethan Frost, young corporate mogul and surfer finds his young new legal intern intriguing. Chole has no intention of romancing the boss. At least that's what she told herself.

The attraction between them if so powerful it's painful but Chole's dark past stops her from being able to dive into a relationship with Ethan.

Ethan peels each layer away from Chole until she confesses her story to him, a story he doesn't realize he already knew. All to well. But it may already be too late to do anything about it.

Hugely addictive, descriptive. A must read.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.I thought this was a very good book; I’ve seen reviews where some people think this tried to emulate FSOG and failed, but I’m one of six people in the world who hasn’t read (and even more shocking, DON’T want to read FSOG), but this story is following the current trend of the billionaire bad boy who falls hard for the one innocent girl (and as formula dictates, they both have tragic pasts). But will they get their HEA?Chloe’s past is traumatic, and the way her family handled the situation is reprehensible, but she’s doing her best to move past the incident and get on with her life, so she’s moved clear across the country to attend school at UCSD, where she’s studying to be an intellectual property attorney. She lands a coveted summer internship at Frost Industries, a biomedical corporation. Her first day on the job, she has a run-in with Juice Guy while she’s on her lunch break, where they verbally spar and he throws down a challenge to her. She accepts the challenge (although she doesn’t know exactly what made her do it), and that sets off a chain of events that will change her life even more.Ethan lost his dad(who was saving lives after a bomb blast that occurred overseas) while Ethan was a still a young boy, and the circumstances of his father’s death are what prompted Ethan to want to prevent any more lives from being lost in such a needless manner, hence his creating Frost Industries. His company regularly meets with those military and civilian personnel who have been grievously injured during combat, to find out what treatments are working or not working, so that they can improve the healing time from their injuries.Ethan is determined to be with Chloe after their initial meeting, and at first she does try to keep their relationship on a strictly professional level, but that all changes after she and her roommate Tori attend a community event that is sponsored by Frost Industries. And that is the turning point in the story; Chloe goes from being a strong, independent young woman who is determined to move past her traumatic experience when she was a teenager, to a young woman whose happiness is suddenly dependent on a man she’s known for a week. Meanwhile, Ethan is just fine being with Chloe, until he goes on a business trip. He doesn’t contact her when he returns, and by the time Chloe finally sees him, his whole attitude towards her and their relationship has done a complete 180. The change in his demeanor was so abrupt that I thought I missed part of the story and had to go back and read that last portion for a second time. We do learn a bit about Ethan’s secrets, but I still wasn’t prepared for that cliffhanger!I would definitely recommend this book.

I was really excited to read Tracy Wolff’s RUINED because a few friends really enjoyed it. In the end, it fell a bit flat.Character development is a bit weak. Ethan went from being this beach bum type of guy to suddenly suit wearing CEO. For the most part, he remains mysterious and even when he tells Chloe a bit of his past we still don’t know exactly who Ethan Frost is. The whole beach bum vs CEO felt a bit off. Out of all the characters we get to know Chloe fairly well. It makes sense since she also narrates it. As a narrator I think she’s trustworthy. It’s clear something traumatic happened to her and she doesn’t tell us exactly what it is nor does she give us hints along the way. In fact, we don’t know even what it is until towards the very end. It was also a bit difficult to like her since she was so wishy washy. One moment she was lusting after Ethan and the next minute she had a resolve to let him go. A few secondary characters make an appearance and play minor role. I wish Wolff had focused a bit more on these secondary characters other than a quick mention and it would have brought more substance to the plot.I debated with the rating between a two and three and in the end decided on a two for one particular reason. I liked the writing up until a certain point and I don’t want to give a spoiler so I’ll tip toe around the issue as best I can. Chloe tells Ethan about an incident in her past and it’s heartbreaking and something no woman should experience. Fast forward to the “it’s not you, it’s me” type of scene where the hero always pushes the heroine away then they make up shortly after this argument. It’s what occurred leading up to their makeup that didn’t sit well with me especially when you take into context Chloe’s past. Chloe makes her stand and Ethan still pushes to the point where Chloe is afraid the past is about to be repeated. Then all is okay despite her concerns. This did not sit well with me and I think Wolff could have addressed this particular scene a little better. Furthermore, Ethan was involved in an altercation with his half-brother and I suspected I knew who he was and my suspicions were confirmed which has me wondering how clichéd will book two be?Tracey Wolff’s RUINED ends on a cliffhanger and it was an okay read. I would have liked a little more character development and respect among the characters. Despite a few hiccups, I’ll still read the second book to see how it ends.

Netgalley copy for honest review. SPOILERS Loved it but not liking that I cannot find out when the next book is coming out. The title did give away what happened to Chloe. I have read enough books that I was not surprised about that part. The synopsis said the book would be a lot like the FSOG trilogy and the Crossfire series, but I did not think so. I was happy about that. I enjoyed those books but I did not want to read page after page about sex. I was glad that this author kept the sex to a minimum and I did not have to read multiple pages on their sexual experiences with each other. Drives me crazy. I loved Ethan! He was so sweet and caring for Chloe throughout the whole book. Even at the end when he was telling her to leave and they were done you could feel how much he did not want their relationship to be over. I am usually pretty good at reading into where the author will make the twist in the story but I was blindsided. Maybe because it came at the very end but I was not prepared. Even now I am not sure if what I am thinking is correct so that makes me really excited about the next book. I am also wondering if Ethan knows if these two people's lives are mixed together. Here is my negative. I probably totally missed it in the book but I was SO confused over this Brandon and Chad guy. At first I thought Brandon was the boyfriend, then the name Chad came up and I thought "this is an unedited version so maybe the name is going to be changed in the book", Brandon/Chad, Brandon/Chad, SO my conclusion is this...Chad was the boyfriend and Brandon is the one who did the thing that ruined her and happens to be Ethan' half-brother. I am not sure but that is what I am going with.
