About this audiobook
But after a long journey, Riley and the gang arrive in Las Vegas-one of the few remaining inhabited cities-only to find that it has been taken over by a group of thugs who rule through fear and brutality. Making matters worse, ruler Icely and his gang have taken to staging dog fights as popular entertainment, and Riley catches their eye. With Riley forced to fight for her life and Jessie locked up in the home of Icely himself, the future is uncertain. Will Riley save the day once more and help her pack escape to safety?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Book Of Riley A Zombie Tale by Mark Tufo is a well written book from the point of view of an American Bulldog. Riley's opinon of the cat: "I don't know what kind of spell she has over the humans because they absolutely adore the purring pestilence known as Patches." I laughed out loud when Riley described eating the butter, since my own dog just snagged a new carton of butter out of the grocery bag & ate one stick before we knew she had gotten it.Riley decided to give Ben-Ben & Patches more credit. "He had more than proven his worth to me last night & I would forgive him many things I had previously found bothersome."I gave it five stars because it was fast moving & entertaining from start to finish. I will look for more of Mark Tufo's writing. He is a gifted story teller.I received a complimentary kindle copy from Amazon. That did not change my opinion for this review.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Would you listen to The Book of Riley again? Why?Yes. I found this to be an interesting perspective on a zombie tale. This is the first zombie tale I've listened to and liked that it was told through the eyes of a dog. What does Sean Runnette bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?Sean Runnette brings the characters to life with all the different tone and inflictions that he uses for each of the characters. It really helped me to visualise, almost like watching a movie but without the actual picture part.Any additional comments? The storyline progressed well and the characters, though mostly animals, were interesting in the way they reacted to the situation they were facing and the choices they made based on that. This is categorised as YA but I have to say the description of the violence I found very graphic and quite horrifying. It will be interesting to see where the story goes with next lot of books in the series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am hooked! Now on to the next one in the series.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have yet to find a Mark Tufo book I don't love! His books keep you on the edge of your seat in suspense while throwing in some humor and occasionally making you shed some tears. I think it was a great decision to have Sean Runnette narrate his books!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An unlikely hit, but I really enjoy this series. The plot never goes where you expect it to.
