About this audiobook

From #1 bestselling author Jennifer Weiner comes a haunting tale of addiction and obligation, secrets and redemption. Now available on CD and as an audio download for the first time!

Shannon Will is nearing thirty and has already made six trips to rehab (not that anyone’s counting). But this time, she swears, will be different. She’ll clean up her act, go to meetings, find a sponsor, and make a clean break with her past—starting with a new phone number.

But old ties aren’t so easy to sever. When Shannon’s new phone starts getting messages she was never meant to see, Shannon has to decide whether to risk getting involved, or stay safely disconnected.

Gripping, suspenseful, and smart, Disconnected is a riveting tale of addiction and obligation, secrets and redemption.

Well-written. Didn't see the end coming. Creepier than her other book Recalculating.

I solely started this book because it's one of the few audiobooks that happen to be available to me on Scribd at this time. I don't know if they lost a deal with a publisher or what. Anyway, this book came up really short for me. It was pretty predictable and short. Not much room for character development and the writing felt rushed.

A gripping and moving short e-story for a few tidbits in preparation for Jennifer Weiner’s upcoming novel (April, 2014) ALL FALL DOWN.

Like Jodi Picoult and Amy Hatvany, Weiner is not afraid to tackle raw and emotional (sometimes controversial) subject matter. Their stories are heartfelt and help other relate to those with drug, sex, alcohol, and other addictions. Full of suspense, secrets, and redemption.
Shannon Will is close to 30 yrs. old and has been in and out of rehab many times; however, continues to get caught back up in the drama of addiction. At her lowest she decides to start over and gets a new cell phone (her parents pay for it). However, the when she gets the new # the rep at the phone company is programmed in and for some odd reason she is receiving desperate texts from someone to help her. Shannon decides she has to help!

Looking forward to reading All Fall Down in 2014 and her new book coming 2015 the FWord. As usual, Jennifer knows how to write and entertain with cutting edge material.
