About this audiobook

Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us, It Ends with Us, and All Your Perfects returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in Los Angeles together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

I have to say, so far this is my least favorite of her books. It did have a shocker in the middle that threw me through a loop but really enjoyed many other books she has written better.

I enjoyed this book BUT the recording had times where you heard nothing for a few seconds so I’m not sure what I missed in those seconds. And it happened more than 5 times.

Great book. No spoilers but.I’m standing in my kitchen sobbing. The narration was wonderful with the tiny exception of Falon’s audio speed. I had to switch her readings to 1.2 or 1.5. I’m going to look right now and see if there is a second book.

I liked that there was both a female and a male narrator!
That added a lot to the story line.

I was hooked by the book’s story, but the narrator’s voice for Fallon was almost unbearable to listen to. I gave this book 4 stars only because I love Colleen Hoover’s books.

A little slow in the beginning, not my favorite one of hers but still good with some twists

Loved the story: heartbreaking and with unexpected plot twists. However I didn't like the way it was read by the female narrator: too drawling and monotonous to my taste. The male voice was great though.

Fantastic storyline. Very emotionally charging on many levels. The only drawback to the audio version was Fallon's narration. It was so dull!

Colleen Hoover is just a master at creating unique characters that you absolutely fall in love with. I just recently became a huge fan, and have to say that she is incredible. Her writing is beautiful, and the stories never disappoint. They definitely make you feel and are NOT ever the typical romance. Can’t wait to read more already!

Loved the storyline and narration. After listening to a few of Colleen Hoover’s books, I make sure I am not listening the ending in public, because of the waterworks. Every single time and I keep coming back. Had the same effect with ‘it ends with us’. I love the way she ends a book, good or bad, it always makes the book worthwhile.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE READS EVER!!! Colleen Hoover did it again. She has this way of pulling you into the book and making you feel as if you are the character. I laughed, I cried, I got emotional so many times with this book. The narrators really did an amazing job as well!
