- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was such a cute read!I honestly love how Kiera Cass writes; she just makes you want to keep reading forever.I felt the ending was a bit rushed, though. Maybe 20 more pages could have created a more "full" closure...Still, this one will probably be one of my favorites this year.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great read! I couldn't put in down. I loved the book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5the main girl and guy relationship were cute and sweet. but later on it made me so sad. oh so sad. I hurt for them. I hurt for him. I crave for a love as strong as theirs. but I can only find them in books. that sucks
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Easy to listen book, but not as gripping as the selection books
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Very corny. But entertaining, and imaginative. It wasn’t what I thought it would be, and I liked that. I don’t think it was very predictable. I liked how it was narrated and that she made different voices for each character.
Muy cursi. Pero entretenido e imaginativo. No fue lo que pensé que sería, y eso me gustó. No me pareció muy predecible. Me gustó cómo fue narrado y que hacía diferentes voces para diferentes personajes. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was so good. A nice easy listening romance. It’s mystical, magical, and full of beauty.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The narrator was great; it is the story I didn’t have a connection to. The romance was basically insta-love, and yet I was supposed to think it was the romance of the century. That Akinli and Kahlen were soulmates and their connection was deeper than any other. The pacing of the story was slow, with bursts of action and long periods of nothingness in the between. The relationships between the sisters were one of the better plot points, but so often Kahlen felt herself on the outside of that, so we only got to experience what she did.
The Ocean was an infuriatingly frustrating character, who didn’t know how to express love although she proclaimed over and over her love for her sirens.
Padma’s backstory is super dark, and there is casual mention of murder; almost as if it’s ok under certain circumstances, which is concerning.
I’m glad I read the story, since I was curious about it ever since reading The Selection, but it is definitely not Cass’s best work. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Such a fun and interesting book! Such a fun read
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I don’t often like stories with the premise of being centered around a romantic relationship. But, the story spent so much time on developing the characters and other relationships as well. A very beautiful and sad way of thinking of sirens and how they exist and interact. The ending had me in tears. It was truly touching.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5it was great the plot twist was amazing. And the little bit of horror is awesome. Mu fav character is mickey the mouse!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Best book I’ve ever read I’ve read this book multiple times but it never gets old this story is amazing and I love it so much<3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The readers voice was beautiful. This is one of my all time favorite books, so I had really high standards, and they were all met?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I had such high hopes for this book after reading The Selection Series. This book left me wanting more. It got to the epilogue and I was stunned that it was even over. It was as if the author got to the end and got tired of writing and summed everything up in a paragraph. I haven’t given up on Cass, but I am going to read her next one with less expectation.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Cass has great pacing, and the love story felt more realistic than most in the genre. Really lovely read.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The book itself was good. The recording, however, skipped entire sections! It was not edited very well before publishing.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Honestly, this is the kind of book to listen to when you want to laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of something.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It’s was entertaining and the voice reading for the audio was really good. But if anyone reading is coming or has been in an abusive situation, it could be very sensitive and confusing. Someone who truly loves you should not be putting you in danger or hurting you.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have always been looking for a book on sirens that was a romance and the ending made me so sad wanting more.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Absolutely ? amazing. Loved it so much. I recommend this
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Beautifully written and perfectly narrated. An enchanting love story which pulled me into the ocean from the first chapter.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The beginning a middle part was so boring, it only picked up at the end. I usually don’t mind insta-love but I’m still debating on this one. 2.5 stars
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I was so beautiful. I felt so much emotion .
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5It was ok, but the main character was such a pity party
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5absolutely fantastic
an interesting plot bu reminiscent to the littler mermaids...:-) - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The book was predictable and nauseatingly lovey dovey. The premise had such promise but the delivery was disappointing. Overall it was just trying to hard to make something unbelievable even more unbelievable. .
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5SOOOO good! I’m obsessed with mermaids so this was especially amazing for me. Beautiful story and the narrator was FANTASTIC!! You NEED to get her to record “The Selection” because the current narrator for that one is awful and this girl is phenomenal.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved how fictional it was and I loved the love story with it!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The plot was very good and I fully recommend it completely
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sad story, but an I treating twist on Sirens. :)
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I Loved this book!!! It was such a great story and a different perspective on Sirens. I liked this take on Sirens - it was refreshingly new and different from most Siren or Mermaid stories I’ve read.
It was an emotional story but it was a good happy ending and it was like a breath of fresh air. It was the perfect story that I needed to read ?.
I would definitely recommend others to read this! Go check it out now!
