About this audiobook

Eadie T. Pratt sets out on a road trip in search of a new life and ends up in the middle of somewhere she never expected. Start with one independent, urban lesbian who cashes out her life in San Francisco for a secondhand travel trailer and sets off to the Michigan Womyn’s Music Festival in search of a new life. Add to this a broken-down ’66 T-bird, a bunch of small-town Texas Baptists, a ton of fried food, and a church scandal. Pepper with a hot love interest and a dash of greed, and what you get is Eadie T. Pratt’s road trip gone awry.

What one reviewer said: "Without a doubt, this is the BEST lesbian book I have read this year. What sets this book apart from the rest---the texture that permeates every page. The detail, the description, the taste and feel of a place so hot and fried that it seems you can actually smell it.

And the characters are vividly drawn and honest to their roles.

This is a well crafted book that tells an intriguing story in a most unique way."

Good book, but didn't love the fat shaming, or the use of the word retarded do describe a differently able boy.

Gripping to the end! Brought out all the feels. Wasn't raunchy like some can be in this genre and still entertaining.

I liked this book. It was nice to see how everyone got along with each other. Will there be a 2nd book, so we see what happens after the woman's weekend?
