- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wonderfully emotional book. As always Cathy Glass never disappoints. If there were super heroes like the ones we watch on TV, she would certainly be considered one. She is a real life hero. I absolutely love each book by her and her ongoing dedication, love, respect, and perseverance with each child she fosters is truly amazing and I'm grateful to have found her books to witness her & their amazing stories. Joss is a strong, stubborn, hurt, grieving, scared teenager who has suffered immensely and I'm glad she was fostered by Cathy. On to the next one for sure!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Thank goodness for good grandparents. This book was one of my favorites by Cathy glass.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Cathy Glass takes the reader on a wild ride with each book she writes. Once I get over the 'language barrier' (spy hole instead of peek hole, boot instead of trunk, etc) I can't put the book down. I do get upset that Endland's idea of foster care is quite different from that of foster care in The United States. Children are allowed to go out almost at will with foster parents having little or no control as to where the children go, what they do, or whom they choose as friends.
