      Great novel. I really enjoyed this series. Will Patton is an outstanding narrator.

      As this is the third book of the Hodges trilogy, it really irritated me that he decided to bring in super natural powers at this late stage. If you were going to go that route, do it earlier in the series. Springing it in book 3 just felt strange. The first two books I really enjoyed. I loved that all the characters (Hodges, Holly, Jerome etc. ) carried through but I just can’t get on board with the plot line of the third book.

      Stephen King weaves a lovely web of mystery with threads of suspence, leaving little clues here and there, before ultimately tying things off into a neat bow. Great read, sad to have it finished.

      This is the kind of series that leaves you feeling depressed because it's over and wishing there was more. Fortunately, Holly reappears in The Outsider and a short story in If It Bleeds. However, the feeling of wanting more still remains.

      I am not a professional critic, I am just someone who loves great fiction. I am convinced that King is one of the greatest authors of our time. The characters he creates and the way he reveals their stories is masterful. I loved this trilogy and I look forward to reading more!!!!!

      I read Stephen King books over and over. Not consecutively but maybe every 5 years or so. I like it when the good guy wins. I like a good story. Stephen King tells a good story.

      Wow! KING IS BRILLIANT. End of Watch was a great story with great characters. I hope that I can see more of Holly in the future!

      Solid finale to a decent trilogy. While it certainly doesn't rank among King's very best, it proves once again that he can write in any genre better than nearly everyone alive.

      The recurring characters in End of Watch are great. Stephen King is definitely on the top of his game. His understanding of the human personality and perception make these folks not only real but likable. The book is a soup of Criminal Minds and The Dead Zone with a little Mr Robot thrown in for taste.

      I think I liked the first two books better. I didn't really buy into the supernatural aspect which wasn't in the first two books and this book seemed too rushed as if King wasn't really into it and just had to complete the trilogy. I'd have to say that it was just OK and nothing really to write home about!

      I've loved this trilogy, and End of Watch is definitely an excellent conclusion to the series. As always, King manages to combine suspense, great characters and a plot with a hint of the supernatural almost without trying. I think the Hodges books would make a great introduction to King's work for those who want to ease themselves into his love of the uncanny gently but still want a cracking mystery to solve.

      Will Patton is an amazing narrator. He really brings all the characters to life. I absolutely love Holly and how she's written and how she's voiced here. This book is so so good and such a good ending to the trilogy.

      I very much enjoyed the Bill Hodges Trilogy. And I love Holly. I didn't plan on reading the complete trilogy, but I did. And I am glad

      I finally finished this. Going to New Mexico to get your brother out of the hospital can do a number on your Reading Challenge.

      This book, the last of the Mr. Mercedes trilogy, was good, but sad. The Det. Ret. doesn't make it in the end, and he was my favorite character.

      Book on CD performed by Dick Hill 4**** Book three in the Bill Hodges Trilogy has the retired detective (now a private investigator) and his partner, Holly Gibney, intrigued by the recent murder / suicide involving a survivor the original Mercedes Killer rampage. Then another person connected to the original case attempts suicide. This has all the hallmarks of Brady Hartfield and his fascination with suicide, but he’s in a traumatic brain injury ward and mostly catatonic. He couldn’t possibly be involved … or could he?A fast-paced, intricate plot, complex characters, a little humor here and there to lighten the mood, a cautionary word about the hypnotic effects of extended screen time, and a fascinating exploration into brain activity and the possibilities all put together by a master of the genre. I really like Bill Hodges, but I love Holly, and she really shines in this episode. Dick Hill does a fine job of narrating the audiobook. I was listening on a long driving trip and the miles flew past as I was gripped in the narrative. I particularly like how he interprets Holly.
