About this audiobook
—#1 New York Times bestselling author Aprilynne Pike
Some things are easy to fix…but are some meant to stay broken?
When sixteen-year-old Jill Whitaker’s mom walks out—with a sticky note as a goodbye—only Jill knows the real reason she’s gone. But how can she tell her father? Jill can hardly believe the truth herself. Suddenly, the girl who likes to fix things—cars, relationships, romances, people—is all broken up. It used to be that her best friend/secret crush, Sean Addison, could make her smile in seconds. But not anymore. They don’t even talk.
With nothing making sense, Jill tries to pick up the pieces of her life. When a new guy moves in next door—intense, seriously cute, but with scars that he thinks don’t show—Jill finds herself trying to make things better for Daniel. But over one long, hot Arizona summer, she realizes she can’t fix anyone’s life until she fixes her own. And she knows just where to start…

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Beautifully written. I love that the book is a cliche only when it counts and puts a perspective on a life I have never loved but sadly know exists. Definitely 5 stars
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5it was okay
the first part of the book was interesting then I got bored at some point in the middle of this book.
I like her relationship with her father and her best friend. Though i dislike the romance part.
the age gap between 16 year old girl and 21 year old guy. it just not for me. I am personally like the older guy but she is just 16 and it irritated me. and I'm glad that Jill realize that in the end and then...Well Sean.
I don't know but it's weird that her mom almost kiss him and then got away with nothing no explanation, no talking just let it go like that? it could do his justice more than that and I could feel for him more. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Not bad at all except when Jill got overly dramatic and angsty. I rarely give 4 stars.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was a breath of fresh air!!! It had gotten to the point where I could pretty much predict how a YA novel was going to end but this book had me hooked and on my toes. So many shocking twists!!! Definitely worthy of its high praise and I’m glad I gave it a chance.
