    The Peppers are a family of three boys, two girls, and Mamsie. They are poor, living in their "Little Brown House", but they always manage to be happy. This book comprises the adventures of Joel, the middle Pepper child and the most mischievous.       The story itself is a delightful children's story. The one narrator of the story (There are multiple.) was a struggle to understand. I hope that Scribd donated to Libravox for using their free rendition of the book and then charging me to listen to it!
