    Born and raised in Corona, California, Danielle started her first novel at age 11 on an airplane flight from California to Texas. The unfinished 'book' was tucked away as a memento. Her love of books and writing led her to start several other novels over the last decade, none of which ever got to the publication stage. Dréoteth was written during an exhaustive but exciting National Novel Writing Month exercise, which she completed, and has now become a full-fledged book. It is her first published novel. Danielle lives in Texas with her husband, two sons, and their black cat Sheba.
