About this audiobook
A RITA Award finalist, Contemporary Romance: Long.
Chloe Carmichael’s life feels pretty sweet—she’s both maid of honor and florist for her best friend’s A-list wedding, things are getting serious with her boyfriend, and her flower shop is about to get a spread in a national magazine. But it all quickly turns sour whenever the best man, Bad Habit drummer A.J. Edwards, shows his face...his handsome, unforgettable face. A.J. is everything Chloe doesn’t want: tattooed, selfish, and all-around bad news. So why can’t she stop thinking about him?
Goody two-shoes Chloe isn’t exactly A.J.’s type, either, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. A.J. will be the first to say he isn’t a saint, but there’s something he’s not saying—something that would devastate Chloe. The only way he can protect her is to push her away, but the drummer finds he needs her now more than ever. When a wedding-day confrontation reveals secrets they’re both hiding, will Chloe and A.J. ever find their rhythm again?

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5JT Geissinger is my current fav author and I love every single book that I have read. The female narrator’s “male” voice is so hilariously annoying it completely ruined this audio book for me. I’m kinda shocked that this would be the narrator they picked…
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very good book! Worth it.
The second story line is bit cruel, though. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is the second book, and this book will frustrate you, piss you off, and make you melt, all at the same time.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5mmmm...delicious angst.
I far preferred the second book in the series (3.5). I connected better with the characters, I've come to expect Geissenger likes her men just a little out of control alpha...This book felt lighter and funnier even though the subject manner also seemed darker.
For me this story smacked of Beauty and the Beast or some similar fairytale. Instead of being ugly, A.J. is super damaged. The chemistry and the plot devices kept me entertained, though I did see most of those twists coming.
I was left feeling a little disappointed at the end, I felt some things could have had resolution without without these quick conflicts and then outcomes - those pieces all seemed very fleeting.
That said, I think I'm going to read the third, despite not feeling too peppy about it, just to abuse my last days of KU. I'm not super curious about these two next two characters. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Make Me Sin by J.T. Geissinger is an amazing story that had me awestruck. This contemporary rock star romance in set in Los Angeles and suitable for both New Adult and Adult readers. At the end of book one, Bad Habit lead singer Nico Nix and Kat Reid became engaged to each other. In book two, Bad Habit Drummer, A.J. Edwards and florist, Chloe Carmichael are standing up in the wedding together. They are complete opposites, and they cannot stand each other. Well at least, that’s what they originally think.I love A.J. Character. He has so many painful secrets. He is an intense character that you like more and more as his story is uncovered. There is a side to him that no one knows about. I love how he got his dog, Bella. Chloe is sweet and hard working. She is a little naive, but that is part of her charm. Then of course there is the rest of the band and Chloe’s friends. They are good friends, and I enjoy their interaction. They are a real family. The plot was incredible. There were multiple unexpected twists that kept me riveted. There was an excellent use of foreshadowing. Make Me Sin truly held me captivated. I loved this story. It had me crying, cheering, and hoping. My heart went out to A.J. and Chloe. J.T. Geissinger’s books continue to impress me. She is an amazing writer who does a great job of tapping into your emotions. Her writing style is impressive and seamless. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
