About this audiobook
Kane Andrews, also known as the superhero Tempest, has returned from his absence to a world filled with Supers, and a government that won't be satisfied until all Supers are eradicated-hero and villain alike.
Kane and his group try their best to stop the evil Supers, but they're hopelessly outnumbered. And when the evil Supers put in motion a plan that spells disaster for any Super or human that's not on their side, Kane's not so sure that he and his people can stop them. Not only that, but with the government hunting them down, it looks as if Kane may be on the losing side of an oncoming war between the humans, heroes, and villains.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The story of this book is a little better than the last, but still VERY cheesy. The worst part of this audiobook however is the narrators ‘yelling’ voice — it is spectacularly annoying and makes you cringe every single time. He can’t help but loses his characters voices when he ‘yells’ so that everyone sounds the exactly the same while shouting. Ugh.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I found the story kind of boring, the main character is incompetent and arrogant, and the antagonists are lack luster. I feel like all of the main characters problems would’ve been solved by bringing the truths of the government agency to light (they are literally trying to commit genocide and are kidnapping innocents). Over the course of this and the last book the mc has not improved or changed at all with an exception for his motivation to become a hero. He is constantly getting in fights overestimating himself then destroying random buildings which would kill many if the city’s were more realistic. This is just my opinion though and I could be wrong about some things but I just can’t stand the MC’s character.
