About this audiobook
Hawk Red Cloud lives by his own set of rules: Don't let them share the saddle, don't bring them home, and never spend the night. So far, he's managed to avoid commitment like the plague.
Tildy Fletcher's parents set rules for her. She would never think of breaking them; she knows all too well what would happen if she did.
Hawk and Tildy are from two different worlds, but there's no denying the attraction between them. The rules are designed to keep them apart. Will they be willing to break them for a chance at true love?Contains mature themes.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Hawk is a bit jaded on love and commitment. The ex-military man grew up on the Cherokee reservation with his mother and sister after his father walked away. Hawk lives his life one woman per night, no promises, no strings...then he runs into Tildy.
Matilda ‘Tildy’ lives on the good side of town. Her parents own a bank and dictates every aspect of her life. She is punished when she doesn’t fall in line. When her car breaks down, she accepts a ride from Hawk to the garage where he works. The chemistry is undeniable but can a commitment-phobe and a scared, abused woman have a relationship?
I liked this book, for the most part, although sometimes I wanted to shake Tildy! She’s 22yo, has a college degree but still lives at home and allows her parents, particularly her mother, run her life. When Tildy is attacked, Hawk bows to keep her safe, but can he really?
Nice HEA.
