About this audiobook

Love is the sweetest venom.
Lawrence: I told her I wanted her body and not her love. I lied.

Ronan: I fell in love with a lie . . .
She was beauty and destruction.Kissing her was a tender song. Owning her body, a wild poem. Loving her, my downfall. But she was mine. Or so I thought.

Blaire: One man offered me his love. The other, the world.
I'm falling, falling, falling . . .
And there's no end in sight.

I am instantly wrapped up in these characters. The heroine is so complex and definitely starts off as a character that is easily disliked but then the hero who was the nice guy ended up going down a very similar route! They both needed to learn lessons and I definitely think that showcased their maturity.

The ended left more to be desired. I did really enjoy how the heroine went to find herself and find who she is without a rich man funding her life but the hero just randomly popped up again and I have no idea how he found her all the way in Paris. I loved it because it was different from what I've previously read but it needed more.

I loved Ronan but I also loved Lawrence too and Even though i know Blaire brought every bit of her pain on herself, I couldn't help but feel compassion for her. My heart broke right alongside hers as I wondered if she would ever find happiness. Epilogue was too short.

If you're looking for a book with a ton of sex and liberal amounts of drama you should definitely buy this one. I felt like it was too much sex (gasp, I know right, hard to imagine). Everyone else that read it loved it so it could be a case of me and the book meeting at the wrong time.
