About this audiobook

There is a clear conspiracy to deny the existence of UFOs.

The mainstream media has misinformed us for years about UFO studies conducted by highly regarded scientists associated with some of the finest universities in the country. There is significant evidence that the U.S. government has covered up the alien presence through misinformation, distortion, obfuscation, and ridicule. Some prominent, politically connected scientists have engaged in the cover up. And a few professional writers have helped to successfully label any scientists who have been persuaded by the evidence and brave enough to take a stand as unscientific charlatans, fanatics, and kooks.

Fact, Fiction, and Flying Saucers examines the wealth of archival documents that clearly demonstrate this cooperative disinformation effort and refute the false claims made by these professional scoffers. Stanton T. Friedman and Kathleen Marden set the record straight by examining politically motivated misinformation and presenting compelling evidence that separates fact from fiction.

Man...who would have known ufology could be so dull and dry...and yet such a cesspool of drama. I highly suggest the audiobook as this is a very tough, information-heavy read.

The fascinating thing about this book is how it perfectly describes the dynamics between believers and debunkers in the hayday of ufology: it was all about getting your hands on government funds! Or if you're a skeptic, jealous of government money being poured into a field you do not approve of, you make it your goal in life to destroy your opponents on a personal level.

The annoying part however is that all sides of the debate are purely centered around the extraterrestrial hypothesis. Really? People STILL believe UFOs are visitors from space? So as someone who believes UFOs may be something other than aliens, everything presented here, all the drama and backstabbing, seem pretty redundant, as both the believers AND the skeptics are looking at it all wrong ?‍♀️
