    Jane Austen was born in 1775 in rural Hampshire, the daughter of an affluent village rector who encouraged her in her artistic pursuits. In novels such as Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park and Emma she developed her subtle analysis of contemporary life through depictions of the middle-classes in small towns. Her sharp wit and incisive portraits of ordinary people have given her novels enduring popularity. She died in 1817.

      This is a review of the narration rather than the book: narration is very irritating and unprofessional. Narrator doesn’t understand or clearly communicate the cadence of long sentences that Jane Austen writes in. There are other narrations available for Emma and I highly recommend you look at them, such as Alison Larken.

      I'm sorry to say, but the narration was awful. I tried to listen 3 separate times and I just couldn't. Almost every review for this is clearly fake. Steer clear of this narration of Emma.

      Books isnt complete, you only get a few pages of each chapter before it jumps to the next mid sentence.

      Awesome! This audiobook is really great! It is very clear, objective, and easy for any beginner to understand without any difficulty. I read the whole book collection and all are Awesome. I have learned many things about Emma from this book. This book has surprised me. The books all points correct and working 100%. I love this book very much. Thanks to all the writers, who are worried about this book. we need more audiobooks like this.

The story revolves around a comedy of errors: Emma befriends Harriet Smith, a young woman of unknown parentage, and attempts to remake her in her own image. Ignoring the gaping difference in their respective fortunes and stations in life, Emma convinces herself and her friend that Harriet should look as high as Emma herself might for a husband--and she zeroes in on an ambitious vicar as the perfect match. I really like this book.I am like this book. so it is very interesting.
