The characters and the narrator as I knew who was who as it didn’t drone on like some other authors and narrators are like. I’m looking forward to the entire series. Thx Harper it’s a great story

I really like this series. They’re not AMAZING, but there’s nothing really wrong with the books... I feel like the narrator sounds to old and the couple is made out to be older than they are in their early/mid-30’s.

Another sweet, cozy book in the series. The ending is wonderful!

I'm ashamed to say I listened to this entire series. I liked Matt as a love interest so much even if a lot of Fran's murder solving seems implausible. But I have to confess that the emotional final scene between the two had me laughing out loud with it's cheesiness, and I don't think that was the author's intention.
Anyway, if you're after super light mystery books with a side of PG romance this is for you.

The mystery plot for this book is probably the strongest for the series, again it was logical and the killer was a character in the book, that had been mentioned before the solution was given. Same strong points as before, characters are great, same weaknesses for the earlier books, length and depth of the book not long or deep enough.

Murder occurs at the jewelry down the street from Fran's café. The owner asks for her help to discover the murderer and thief of the $50,000 ring from the store. Fran, although told to stay out of it, gets involved.I enjoy this series. I like how Fran's circle of friends is expanding and that we get a glimpse into their friendships. The story is good and I solve the murder at the same time Fran did. We both had the same suspects and logic. This is a fun read. I hope there are more of Fran and company.
