About this audiobook
Pneumatology refers to the study of the Holy Spirit in light of the Bible. It is an area many parts of the body of Christ have overlooked, which has truly hindered our spiritual growth and the advancement of God's kingdom in the earth today.
John G. Lake walked with the Holy Spirit and sought after him ever so carefully. He was a man of study and wanted to know how God healed the sick and how Christ worked through man by the Spirit's involvement.
This book is a compilation of Mr. Lakes own sermons on the subject of the Holy Spirit. Each is filled with divine wisdom and revelation, and should truly help us understand the wonderful third person of the Trinity - the Holy Spirit.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very practical teaching on works of Holy Spirit. A must read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A beautiful testimony of the power of being infilled with the Holy Spirit; the healing and the unfathomable power of speaking in tongues.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I feel like it was more transcendental than biblical but then again I may have jumped off into the deep end with this one. I see what it means to have the HOLY SPIRIT close to you and in you and working through you. It is a point I am not well versed with but GOD can help me understand this by HIS own will. I want to know more about the HOLY SPIRIT and to stop grieving HIM.

John G. Lake loved Jesus so passionately and his faith and hope and expectation that all Christians would do the same is contagious. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This work is a deep and rich study by John G. Lake of his experience and understanding of the Holy Spirit. Lake does not mince words. He does simply talk about what he belie3ves but what he knows from experience. The Holy Spirit says Lake is a substance. That substance is God. That substance took flesh in Jesus Christ and later through Christ enters the Christian. The Holy Spirit speaks in tongues in the Christian baptized in him. The Holy Spirit heals the sick, prophesies, and operates the gifts of the Spirit.
There are a number of striking elements in Lake's study. The first is the way he prays for the sick. A lady came to a public meeting in South Africa with an arm frozen by rheumatism. In the meeting was a group of noisy men, mainly Jews who worked at the race courses. When the women came forward, Lake asked this group to pay attention and to send two witnesses to check the state of the woman's arm. He asked them if they considered the case to be as she and her friend described. They agreed. He, then, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, son of God began to rebuke that devilish sickness with all the energy of his soul. The fact that he rebuked it with all the energy of his soul shocked me. Today some of us when praying for the sick are very timid. He was not. The woman was healed, completely. The vindication of the Lord Jesus Christ in public.
A second wonderful testimony is when a 16 or 17 years old teenager went up onto the stage and Lake realized she had a message. So he stopped preaching and gave her the stage. She began to chant and do actions like a Mohammedan priest or what we now know as an Imam. A man from the East Indies (This was meeting was from before India was divided up) understood what she was saying. He made his way to the front. John G. Lake asked the young man he knew to explain why he came up. He said that she knew his language. Lake asked what she had said. She had said Salvation belongs to God, and God became a man in Jesus Christ and we can be saved through him. Men cannot save men. Mohammed was a man and therefore can not save other men. This is an astonishing example of tongues and the interpretation of tongues. God speaking through tongues on the issues of truth.
Finally, a third example was Boer's vision from the Lord where he was sent to a specific address at a specific date and told that God would send someone from America to minister. He foresaw the ministry of John G. Lake.
