    Against the ominous backdrop of the influenza epidemic of 1918, Elsie, the class tattletale, liar, and thief, claims the new girl at school, Annie, as her best friend. But Annie soon makes other friends as well and finds herself joining them in teasing and tormenting Elsie, who later succumbs to the epidemic and dies. Elsie is not absent from school long though. She soon returns there as a ghost, ready to reclaim Annie's friendship and to punish all the girls who bullied her.

      Absolutely great book loved it from start to finish amazing all the way through

      I love the book,i read the book first and then listened to the audio, I thought it was sad but subtle story,
      I loved the end the best i cried a little bit but it was sweet.

      Another 5 star 'Knocked it out of the Park' read from this newly found YA author, who has been around forever!! Now I am a 60 year old man, and I LOVE the way that this author writes a ghost story, and this is proof once again that you do NOT need all the sex, violence and gore to be scared! Yes, this book gave me goosebumps more than once.
      Read it, you will love it.
