      I've listened to most of the Jack Reacher books now since the Tom Cruise movie came out. This was quite enjoyable, though it seemed to have quite a bit less action than some of the others. The storyline was interesting if predictable. Overall, worth a listen if you love this series.

      This was a really good book! I love thrillers, mysteries, or books about crime, so this one was perfect for me. I couldn't stop listening! It was the first one I've read by this author, but it definitely won't be the last.

      Felt like an extended short story. Standard Lee Child devices and characters. He wants to make a point about veterans care. OK, got it. But not a very good reacher book.

      I know I’m coming to the end of the list, but man, what a ride! Audiobooks help me get the release I need while accomplishing what I need to do. Great stories are a GREAT help. Thanks much mr. Child!

      The story was good but the narrator has a funny voice that I can't get over. It's like he's pleading and mocking as he reads. Plot was excellent and the story line was fairly easy to follow. Sorry that's my take on this book. I've read 2 of your books with same narrator.

      I love the Jack Reacher novels, they're well written and very exciting. I'm also a fan of the narrator, Dick Hill, however in this case, I don't think his voice fits who I envision as Jack Reacher. To me, Hill makes Reacher sound like a 64 year old senior citizen. Something about the tone, the old-fashioned inflection and lack of much emotion at all. The first novel when Jack is getting down and dirty with Bosco, the hot-bodied cop, it just seemed awkward and almost "dirty old man" sounding. Dick Hill is talented, I just would pick him last to read the old of Jack Reacher. Reacher should be an energetic, very confident, exciting character who can kick the daylights out of anyone. But instead he is sort of like Liam Neeson's dad, and Liam is about 62 years old. Anyone agree with me on this?

      On the contrast when I listen to novels narrated by Scott Brick, such as Orphan X, now that is a voice that fits the character so well. Or Court Gentry's voice in the Gray Man stories.

      Now I'm curious how old Dick Hill is. I'm gonna check that out after I post this.
