      Great narrator. Book 2 was way better than book 1 (book 1 was painful to get through). Ending of book 2 has me sus that book 3 might not be so great. Time to find out.

      I don’t like that the woman doing the narration, who is the same for the other books, says names and things differently in this recording. I also don’t like that the book had barely started, and they’re already in a huge graphic sex scene, which was a whole chapter.

      I wish the pronunciation of names was consistent among the books! I find it very distracting that they pronounce certain names different from the first to the second books. Other than that, love the story and love the narrator (although it did take me a minute to get used to her voice).

      Honestly I hope that someone does a tv series out of this book series and does it justice. This is one of those stories you don't want to leave the characters. You want it to be real, you want it be surrounding you and a part of it. Despite the pain torture and heart ach the characters endure through the story. You fall madly deeply in love with each and every one of them even Tamblyn. At first I thought this series was going to have Fayre darling taking time in each kingdom. ??
      Then the plot twist I wasn't expecting had me thinking about the next chapter at work practically barely able to think about anything but the night court. And what would happen to Ryseand and fayre and well. You'll see read this series.. it's so bad and yet it's so good. I do t even care... live a little.

      Even better than the first one, Sarah J Mass is a MASTER story teller. The narrator is pretty good too. High fantasy, romance, magic, action and adventure that kept me hooked from beginning to end - good stuff. Onward to book 3. Very pleased.
